Low HP and Armor - Problems with Survivalĭisable by Paralyzing Cask, heroes only 1 second Paralyzing Cask is a good counter initiating skill Minuses Maledict can do an incredible amount of damage Paralyzing Cask + Maledict = just cheating Not bad, as for a support, starting damage from the hand Very strong and useful at all stages of the game 5 Who is being countered by the Witch Doctor.Three of Spectres four abilities scale heavily with the acquired items. WD doesn't have such skills, so he is not a carry. Whereas a carry is a hero which has abilities scale heavily with the items that hero aquires. You think that any hero capable of killing several other heroes once in a while is a carry. That would be absolutely insane.Īnd I don't think you understand the concept of a carry. If his stun would work for its full duration on a single target, it would deal 1200 damage and stun for 8 seconds. its a joke skillĪND WE ALL make rampage in base using ward inside at least once, so he's can be carry perfectly, im only asking range of sight for stun dont make only one bounce (u wasting mana, why i must have only 10% of the totall stun, becose range of sight?)įor example, weaver second extra attack will make hit even if u dont see the target. Originally posted by (mute)KεηkεPεσplε 麻 EﻜP:its little shame that u use stun and it bounce once. For all this he needs no or very few items, and can support the team with wards, couriers, dust, smoke and so on. Because he has a very annoying stun ability, that can later on even be used to kill creep waves / camps, because his DW deals a ton of damage if used with the right timing, and because his debuff scales very well into the late game. WD is a good support, because he offers an effective heal that allows him to still do other stuff at the same time. You switch on your heal, throw your stun in, curse an opponent with your debuff, and while the opposing team is in a black hole / chronosphere / tidehunter ravage / treant root or whatever, your ward is blasting them, while you heal your team. If you try to play him as a carry, you play him wrong. Saying "it's called ward, so it should give vision" is like saying "why is a 'school bus' called that way, if it has no school in it? It should at least have a classroom in it!'". It's called "death ward" because it's a ward in so far as you stick it in the ground and it stays there for a while (as long as you can channel or it's duration runs out). i was like O.OĪnother thing, phantom lancer, if u use ward (ulti) on a hero with manta, u'll attack the hero only, but with phantom lancer, the ward attack EVERY clone of PL, and if it says that attacks heroes, why im attacking ilusions of phantom.? i was farming and when i use stun, one of the creeps goes behind some tree and my stun stops, becose it only bounce once, they started to hit me, only becose bloody range of sight, so i had to leave tose creeps, and lose mana becose of that. i mean, its a ward guys, it must give range of sight, even invisible. I love wich doctor, but he looks little stupid becose range of sight isues. I mean if u use it across some trees it will not give u any range of sight so ur ulti will do nothing, another thing, the first skill, the stun, doesnt give u range vision either, so if u throw it and run back, ur stun will bounce once and thhats all,įor a hero that can be interrupted his ulti so easy, and seeing characters like templar assasin, or others very powerfull, i think wich doctor needs to get vision from his ulti and his "kashky" stun skill. Hi everyone, i dont know if they will read this post (the dota 2 dev.) becose i noticed, wich doctor works like ♥♥♥♥, first of all, the ulti skill, the ward, doesnt have vision.
